About the product
The kinematic viscometer, in compliance with GB/T265-1988 “Determination of Kinematic Viscosity of Petroleum Products and Calculation of Dynamic Viscosity”, is suitable for determining the kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (Newtonian liquids). This method refers to the measurement of the time it takes for a certain volume of liquid to flow through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer under the force of gravity at a constant temperature. The product of the capillary constant of the viscometer and the flow time is the kinematic viscosity of the liquid measured at that temperature (the product of the kinematic viscosity at that temperature and the density of the liquid at the same temperature is the dynamic viscosity of the liquid at that temperature).
The kinematic viscometer adopts advanced fuzzy PID temperature control technology, ensuring precise temperature control with an accuracy of ±0.01℃. It can be set to multiple temperature control points as stipulated by national standards, such as 20℃, 40℃, 60℃, 80℃, and 100℃, and any temperature control can be set (the set temperature should be higher than the room temperature). It can be used as a common constant temperature water bath.
The kinematic viscometer can simultaneously activate two glass capillary viscometers to measure kinematic viscosity at the same constant temperature. Each viscometer can be repeatedly measured 1 to 8 times as a set of test data. The instrument will automatically remove the timing results that do not meet the allowable deviation according to the requirements of the national standard method, and take the average of several other timing values that meet the allowable deviation to calculate and obtain the kinematic viscosity value of this group of tests.
The automatic tester for kinematic viscosity of petroleum products adopts high-definition color touch screen technology. The interface content is rich and clear, and the touch screen response is fast and flexible. The entire testing process is fully automated, including oil injection, oil extraction, detection, oil discharge, cleaning and drying, without the need for human intervention. The test results are automatically saved and the measurement results, measurement time, kinematic viscosity value, temperature and other information are automatically printed.
