The tester for zinc oxide arrester is a special instrument for testing various related electrical parameters of the arrester in the field and laboratory, which is widely used in online monitoring of zinc oxide arrester in the field (live test) and laboratory (power outage maintenance). The key technique meets the People’s Republic of China (PRC) electric power industry standard “DL 474.5-92 Field Insulation Test Implementation Guide-Lightning Arrester Test”. This instrument adopts advanced technologies such as microcomputer sampling and control, and can measure the full current, third harmonic, resistive current, peak value of resistive current, capacitive current, and active power of zinc oxide arrester under power frequency voltage. And display the waveforms of voltage and current and prints out the test data. A large-screen LCD and Chinese character menu prompt operation are adopted, which makes the man-machine exchange function stronger and provides on-site waveform display. This instrument has the characteristics of simple wiring, high measurement accuracy, and strong reliability.
